Each of our pieces is handcrafted and, given the delicacy of their materials, we recommend you take good care of yours so you can enjoy it for as long as you want to.
Silk Kimonos
DRY CLEANING at dry-cleaner’s.
If you wash it in the washing machine, or dry it in the tumble dryer, the fabric may be damaged and the colours could be affected.
Take it to the DRY-CLEANER’S for proper ironing.
IF YOU IRON IT AT HOME, you should do so at a temperature suitable for delicate fabrics.
STEAM FROM THE IRON used directly on the kimono may leave marks on the silk.
AVOID dragging the iron over the seams.
You may keep it in its original CASE.
We recommend HANGING IT UP a few days before wearing it.
AVOID RUBBING against bracelets, necklaces, or earrings.
Sequin garments under the kimono may spoil the fabric.
Put simply, take care of it. ENJOY!
Cotton Kimonos
HAND WASH – preferably with mild soap.
If you wash it in the washing machine, or dry it in the tumble dryer, the fabric may be damaged and the colours could be affected.
This fabric may be IRONED AT HOME.
We recommend you do it with the garment inside out, at medium temperature, and with loving care.
If in doubt, you can always take it to the dry-cleaner’s to make sure it remains intact.
Put simply, take care of it. ENJOY!
